Our purpose

Bison Ridge exists to provide a one-of-a-kind luxury nature retreat — an immersive experience where members encounter majestic wildlife, exceptional service, and awe-inspiring surroundings.

It is a sanctuary for those who crave the new, top-tier privacy and exclusivity, and seamless luxury — without needing to board a plane. Aman-level seclusion, Four Seasons-level service, Blackberry Farm charm, fifteen miles from downtown Nashville.

The land

The Wild,
Refined

Most places ask you to choose. Manicured and artificial, or rugged and rough. Bison Ridge refuses the trade: two hundred and fifty working acres of ridge and pasture north of Nashville, held in their own character, with every comfort inside them curated to the inch.

Rugged beauty, curated to perfection. Majestic, not rustic. Expect the unexpected.

The herd

They were here first

Bison. Zebra. Scimitar-horned oryx. Fallow deer, Highland cattle, and more than fifteen species in all — ranging the pasture the way they are supposed to, not penned for a photograph. You will watch them from a terrace, from horseback, from the far side of a fence line at dusk. Here, the wild isn't tamed. It's honored. And so are you.

What opens, and when

Built in phases,
on purpose

The renderings show design intent. What matters more is the sequence — what opens first, and what follows. Founding Members arrive at the start of it and watch the rest come in.

Amenities

What is here,
and what it is for

A sixty-two-acre amenity, purpose-built for one community and kept behind a guarded gate, can offer things a club on ten acres cannot. Some of it is what you would expect at this level. The rest is what the land makes possible.

Every membership carries a number. Number One has been issued. When one hundred and fourteen are gone the roll is closed — no day rate, no guest pass, no waiting list that eventually gets in.

What it is

A key, not a booking

A membership at Bison Ridge admits you and your household to a private club and wildlife reserve: the clubhouse and member lounge, The Ridge House restaurant and bar, the ranch programming, and the run of the sixty-two-acre resort grounds. The homesites around it are private land, but the herd does not observe the boundaries — more than fifteen species range the full two hundred and fifty acres, which is why you see them from the terrace, the trails and the road in.

It is a club membership — not equity, not a share of the land, and not a timeshare. What it buys you is access, and the quiet that comes from a gate.

The pavilion, set for dinner · Artist’s rendering

There are one hundred and fourteen in all. One is included with each of the fourteen homesites, and travels with the land. The other hundred are offered to members who do not own here. The club is the same either way, and so are the quarterly dues.

The terms

The first fifty
pay less

The first fifty memberships go at the founding rate. From the fifty-first onward the rate steps up, permanently. It is the simplest reason to come early rather than late.

The pool at sunset · Artist's rendering
Family Membership $60,000 Founding rate · memberships 1–50 The household — you, your spouse, and your family under the club's household rules. From the fifty-first membership: $75,000
Corporate Membership $100,000 Founding rate · memberships 1–50 Up to four designated users and their immediate families — client dinners on the ridge instead of a downtown steakhouse anyone can book. From the fifty-first membership: $125,000
Memberships claimed 3 of 114 Two ride with homesites already sold. Membership Number One is issued. One hundred and eleven remain.
At the founding rate 1 of 50 When the fiftieth is issued the founding rate closes and does not come back.
$2,500 / quarter Dues, identical at both tiers and for homesite owners — and returned to you in full as food-and-beverage credit, including takeout. Dues do not begin until the club opens. The recurring cost of belonging here is a decision about where you eat, not a fee for the privilege.
Your membership number Permanent Issued once, in order, and never reissued. Number One has already been spoken for.
Member spa discount 15% On spa services personally received by each Member, once the spa opens in a later phase.

How to join

It starts
on the land

There is no online application and no sales floor. You come walk the property, meet the herd, see what is built and what is coming — and if it is right, we go from there. Membership is handled privately, one family at a time.

First

Come see it

Tell us you are interested and we will set a private tour. One of us meets you at the gate and walks the ridge with you for as long as you want to stay.

Then

Claim your number

Memberships are issued in order, and the first fifty carry the founding rate. Our membership director will walk you through the current terms in writing, and your deposit will be held in escrow by Magnolia Title & Escrow.

After

You are in

Your number is yours from that day, and it does not change as the club fills. Dues begin when the doors open, not before.

Come stand on it before you decide anything.

Photographs and renderings only go so far. What sells this place is standing on the ridge at dusk with the herd moving below you — so that is what we invite you to do, with no obligation attached to the visit.

Your deposit will be held in escrow by Magnolia Title & Escrow, an independent third-party escrow agent — it is not paid to us. Speak with our membership director first; the terms that apply to your membership are confirmed in writing before anything is paid.

The Founding chapter

Early has
a meaning here

Arriving early is worth something here in three specific ways. You pay the founding rate, which does not come back once the first fifty are issued. You hold a low number, permanently. And you join while the club is still deciding how it runs — what is on the calendar, which nights the kitchen is busy, what the ranch does season to season — so the first families have a say in it rather than inheriting someone else’s version.

Homesites at Bison Ridge

Fourteen
homesites

Fourteen parcels along the ridge — land inside the gate, held to one architectural standard, with the herd on the other side of your window. A club membership comes with each one.

Where each
one sits

Fourteen homesites wrap the sixty-two-acre resort core, so every parcel sits inside the gate and within a short drive of the clubhouse. They range from five acres to thirty-five, on two creeks, with waterfalls, springs, ponds and ridge-top views between them.

Two are sold and one is reserved. What is left is below.

The Erin Krueger Team

Compass RE · Nashville

Bison Ridge is represented by the Erin Krueger Team at Compass RE. They hold the lot list, the design guidelines and the waitlist, and they are who walks you through a purchase from first look to closing.

Prices shown are current asking prices for available homesites, and the contract price for those already sold. Acreages are approximate and subject to final survey; prices and availability are current as of this page and change without notice.

Already in the ground

You are not
buying raw land

Ridge land around Nashville is usually sold bare — you close, then spend a year and a good deal of money finding water and getting power to the site before an architect can draw anything. That work is finished here before the lot is offered.

WaterA private well is drilled and a pump installed on every homesite.
PowerElectric service is run to each lot by Nashville Electric Service.
RoadsInterior roads are built and the gated entrance with on-site security is standing. The HOA maintains them from there.
Gated & securedA gated community with security. Two entrances, both gated, and the perimeter fenced for the herd.

The offering

Land, not inventory

Lot 7 · 630 Axis Ridge · $1,250,000 · Artist’s rendering

Homesites at Bison Ridge are sold as land, to be built on — but not by anyone. Homes here are built by a short list of preferred builders approved for the community, working to one design standard: siting, materials, roof lines, light discipline and setbacks that keep the ridge looking like a ridge rather than a subdivision with a good view.

Because the residences sit inside the club's boundary, ownership and membership travel together. Buying a homesite includes a club membership — there is no initiation to pay on top of the land — and from opening you carry the same quarterly dues as every other member. Founding Members see the release first.

Who builds it Preferred builders A vetted list, working to our design guidelines and approval process. The standard protects your view as much as your neighbor’s.
Priority Members first Founding Members are offered homesites ahead of any wider release.
Homesites from $600,000 Through to $3,500,000 for the thirty-five-acre Reserve. Lot by lot, with the survey and design guidelines, on the table above.
What you receive The documents The recorded plat, the design guidelines and the HOA documents, before you are asked to sign anything.
Homeowners’ association In place An HOA maintains the roads, the gates and the common areas, and enforces the design standard. Separate from the club and its dues.
Club membership Included One membership comes with each homesite and travels with the land. No initiation fee on top of the lot.
Dues $2,500 / quarter The same dues every member pays, beginning at opening — and returned in full as food-and-beverage credit.

Setting

Fifteen miles
from everything
you already do

Joelton sits on the northern edge of the Nashville basin. Close enough that dinner downtown is not an expedition. Far enough that the only thing outside at night is the herd.

Highland cattle on the ridge · Photograph
Phase II · Coming soon Eighty adjoining acres off Grays Point Road, shown on the plat above, will extend the ridge and bring a second, improved main entrance to the club. Homesites there are not yet released. Founding Members will see them first.

For builders

Apply to build
at Bison Ridge

Homes on the ridge are built by a short list of approved builders. The list is deliberately small, and it is not open by default.

What we are looking for

A short list,
held to one standard

Fourteen homesites means fourteen houses, permanently. Each one sets the tone for the ones beside it, so we approve the builders rather than leaving it to whoever a buyer happens to meet.

We are interested in established Nashville-area builders with completed custom work at this price point, the crews to run a ridge-top site, and the patience for a design review that has real teeth.

ProvenCompleted custom homes we can walk, with owners we can call.
Licensed & coveredTennessee license in good standing, general liability and workers’ compensation in force.
To the standardWilling to build to the community’s design guidelines and through its approval process.
PresentNear enough to Joelton to run the job properly, and available when the lots sell.
